Store Creation via Store Elements in the Builder
What’s New?
We’ve made it even easier to launch an online store directly from the Website Builder. 🎉
With this update, you can now add store elements—such as Product Lists, Featured Products, or Pre-Built Store Sections—directly to any page, even if a store hasn’t been set up yet. Once you place a store element or section onto a page, the system will automatically:
Create a store (if one doesn’t exist yet)
Generate the required store pages
Import your website’s theme (header, footer, fonts, and color scheme) for a seamless brand experience
This means you can go from designing your site to selling online in just a few clicks.
How to Use It
Open the Website Builder.
Click Add Element and drag in a store element (such as Cart, Collections List, or Featured Products) or choose a Pre-Built Store Section.
The first time you do this, you’ll see a popup asking if you’d like to import your design settings (fonts, colors, background, etc.) from the current page.
Select Import to apply your current theme to all store pages.
Select Skip to trigger store creation without importing your page’s theme.
Once confirmed, your store is automatically created, linked to your website, and set up with all the necessary store pages.
From there, you can continue customizing the store design and flow as usual.
Key Points to Remember
Adding multiple store elements at once: The first element added will trigger store creation. Any additional elements are simply added as components.
Store page deletion: If you delete one store page manually, all store pages will be removed automatically.
Imported sections will appear below the store elements you add.
