Smarter Product Grouping Made Simple
You can now organize your ecommerce products effortlessly with Manual and Smart Collections — giving you more control and flexibility over how products are grouped and displayed.
Manual Collections let you handpick exactly which products belong together, while Smart Collections automatically group products based on custom rules such as tags, titles, price, or inventory.
Whether you prefer total manual control or dynamic automation, this update helps you keep your store organized and your collections up to date — automatically.
How to Use
Navigate to Payments → Products → Collections.
Click Create Collection, then choose between Manual or Smart Collection.
For Manual Collections:
Select specific products to include.
Save your collection — it’s ready to display in your store.
For Smart Collections:
Define your rules (e.g., Title contains “T-shirt” or Price > 50).
The system automatically includes matching products, updating as your catalog changes.
Save and preview your collection anytime.

Why This Matters
Managing large product catalogs used to be time-consuming — but not anymore.
Smart Collections allow you to create flexible, automated groupings that stay updated as your inventory evolves, while Manual Collections give you complete control over curated product sets.
It’s ideal for online stores that want both simplicity and smart automation for organizing their products by category, promotion, or style.
This means less manual upkeep and a better shopping experience for your customers.
Use Cases
• Seasonal Promotions: Automatically group items tagged “Holiday” or “Summer Sale.”
• Curated Collections: Manually build product sets like “Staff Picks” or “Best Sellers.”
• Dynamic Inventory: Auto-group products priced above a certain threshold or tagged with specific keywords.
• Multi-Category Stores: Manage multiple product types while keeping your collections clear and consistent.
This update gives your ecommerce store the tools to stay organized, relevant, and scalable — no matter how big your catalog gets.
