We’re excited to share a new feature inside Gold Star Pro: interactive buttons for WhatsApp messages.

These handy buttons let you replace long, messy links with a single, clear call-to-action. Think “Book a Call,” “See Dates,” or “Watch Video.” Your clients can tap once and land exactly where you want them—whether that’s your booking page, payment link, or a helpful resource.

The best part? These buttons can be personalized using your CRM data inside Gold Star Pro, and they’re included free as part of WhatsApp automation.


What’s New

  • Visit Website Button
    Send a button that links directly to a URL instead of pasting the full link.

  • CRM Variable Support
    Dynamically personalize links using CRM data. For example:
    https://yourwebsite.com/calendar/{{contact.name}}

  • Branching Options
    Create automation flows based on:

    1. Link Opened

    2. Not Delivered

    3. Timeout

  • Flexible Headers
    Add text, image, video, or document headers.

  • Set a Timeout
    Choose how long the button stays active (from 5 minutes up to 2 days).


Branching & Fallbacks

  • Link Opened → Trigger a WhatsApp or multi-channel follow-up.

  • Not Delivered → Send a backup message by SMS or another channel.

  • Timeout → Define a fallback action if the button isn’t clicked in time.

This means your follow-up never gets stuck—you’ll always have a backup plan.

Steps to Use

  1. In Automations, add the action WhatsApp Interactive Message.

  2. Choose Visit Website Button.

  3. Fill in required fields:

    • Header: Add text, image, video, or document.

    • Body: Main message.

    • Footer: Optional supporting text.

    • URL: Destination link (supports CRM variables).

    • Button Text: What the button says (ex: “See Dates”).

    • Timeout: How long it stays active.

  4. Save and test with a sample contact.


Prerequisite: Customer Service Window

WhatsApp only allows these buttons to be sent inside the 24-hour Customer Service Window (when a client messages you first).

During this time, you can send unlimited interactive buttons at no cost.

If the window closes, you’ll need a paid WhatsApp template to reopen it.
