Run Workflows Automatically with Scheduler Trigger
How It Works
Gold Star Pro now lets you trigger workflows on a schedule — not just by contact actions or events.
With the new Scheduler Trigger, you can automate tasks to run every few hours, daily, weekly, or even at specific dates and times. Whether it’s sending a daily summary, refreshing a data sync, or launching a recurring campaign, your automations can now run completely hands-free.
This trigger gives you full flexibility to customize timing intervals, apply advanced filters, and preview your schedule before activating it.

How to Use
Go to Automations → Workflows → Add Trigger.
Choose Scheduler from the list of trigger types.
Set your interval — such as every 6 hours, daily at 9 AM, or weekly on specific days.
Use Advanced Settings to automatically avoid weekends or stop the trigger after a set date.
Click Check Schedule Preview to review the next run times.
Save and publish the workflow.
Once activated, your workflow will automatically execute based on your account timezone, with live status indicators to confirm that it’s running as expected.

Why This Matters
Before this update, workflows could only be triggered by contact activity — meaning recurring automations required manual workarounds or external triggers.
The Scheduler Trigger removes that limitation by letting you run workflows on time-based schedules with zero manual input.
Now you can:
Automate Recurring Tasks: Run workflows every few hours, daily, or weekly.
Simplify Operations: Eliminate the need for external scheduling tools.
Improve Consistency: Ensure automations run exactly when you want — no missed steps.
Save Time: Focus on strategy while Gold Star Pro handles the repetition.
Use Cases
Data Syncs: Refresh integrations (like Airtable or Google Sheets) every morning.
Performance Reports: Automatically send daily or weekly summaries.
Reminders: Trigger follow-ups or check-ins at the same time each day.
Campaign Management: Schedule recurring workflows for sales or support teams.
Gold Star Pro’s Scheduler Trigger brings true time-based automation — letting you run workflows exactly when you need them, without ever lifting a finger.
