Quiz Builder Just Got Easier!
New updates to the Quiz Builder inside Gold Star Pro are making it easier than ever to create powerful, engaging quizzes. These enhancements improve how quiz categories are managed, how results are displayed, and how content is guided during quiz creation.
Whether you’re using quizzes to generate leads, educate audiences, or assess knowledge, these improvements help you build with more clarity and deliver better user experiences.
What's New
Here’s what’s been added or improved:
1. In-Context Category Popover
A smart popover now shows up to explain:
What categories are
How to create them
How to assign them to answers
How category scores influence results
This makes it easier for creators to understand how to use categories without needing to search around for help.
2. Guided Category Management
When creating a new category:
You now get step-by-step instructions
This minimizes confusion and helps you set everything up the right way from the beginning
3. Dynamic Tooltips for Result Pages
Tooltips now appear inside the result page editor for:
Overall Score
Category Scores
CTA Blocks
These tooltips guide you on how to show different content based on how someone scores—making each result page more personal and engaging.
4. Hover-to-Identify Result Page Sections
When editing the result page:
You can hover over areas like the Header, Categories, CTA, or Footer
Their labels will appear, so you can jump straight to the section you want to change
5. Multiple Score Display Options
You now have three ways to display quiz scores:
Percentage (still available)
Actual Score (new)
Out of 10 (new)
This flexibility gives you more control over how results appear to users.
How It Works – Step by Step
Creating smarter quizzes with dynamic scoring is simple:
Step 1: Add Categories to Questions
As you build your quiz, assign categories to different answers. This sets up the logic for scoring based on specific themes or subjects.
Step 2: Turn On Dynamic Content in the Result Page
Inside the result editor, enable dynamic content. This lets the quiz show different messages, CTAs, or results based on how users perform.
Step 3: Choose Your Score Format
Decide whether scores should be shown as:
A percentage
A raw score
Out of 10
You can pick the one that matches your brand style or user needs best.
These updates are designed to help you build quizzes that are not just functional, but also fun and personalized. With clearer guidance, better formatting options, and smarter score logic, you’re now equipped to build quizzes that truly connect with your audience.
