A new enhancement in the Client Portal now allows users to preview default email templates directly within Notification Preferences. Previously, users could customize notifications but had no way to view the default templates beforehand. This update makes customization easier and ensures that users understand the original messaging before making changes.

With this update, client portal owners can:

  • Preview default email templates before making changes

  • Streamline customization by understanding the original structure, tone, and format

  • Improve confidence in template adjustments with full visibility into the default messaging

How to Use It?

Follow these simple steps to preview default email templates:

  1. Go to Settings

    • Navigate to Sites → Client Portal → Settings → Email Settings

  2. Find the Notification Options

    • Under each child app (such as Communities, Certificates, or Courses), locate the available notifications

  3. Preview the Default Email Template

    • Click the Eye Icon next to a default email template to view its content and structure

  4. Customize If Needed

    • If changes are required, use the Edit button to create a version that aligns with your needs
