Gold Star Pro Phone System Updates: Enhancements and New Features
The development team at Gold Star Pro has rolled out several impressive updates to their phone system. These new features and enhancements aim to improve business communications and streamline operations.
Inbound Call Priorities
New Options for Call Forwarding and Routing:
Forward calls to the business phone number or support.
Disable call forwarding to the business number.
Ring the user assigned to the called number.
Option to disable routing to agents assigned to specific contacts.
By default, incoming calls are routed to the assigned agent. This functionality can now be disabled as needed, providing more control over call management.

Forwarding IVR Inbound Calls
Enhanced IVR Call Handling:
Answer IVR calls on the Gold Star Pro web or mobile application.
Set default calling channels for IVR users (web, mobile, etc.).
Be mindful of the 10 device limit imposed by carriers.
These updates ensure that IVR calls can be managed more flexibly, either on web or mobile, accommodating up to ten simultaneous rings.
UK EKYC Changes
Regulatory Compliance for UK Phone Numbers:
New and existing UK phone numbers require Know Your Customer (KYC) verification.
Automated submission process for user details.
New UK phone numbers must comply post-May 27th; existing numbers must be verified by September 30th.
This regulatory bundle simplifies compliance, ensuring all UK phone numbers meet the necessary verification standards.
Additional Enhancements
Call Queue Improvements:
API migration now supports up to 100 calls in the queue, enhancing call handling capacity.
Audit Logs:
Creation of phone system sub-accounts is now documented in audit logs.
Workflow and Call Management:
Disable workflow calls for inactive locations to avoid unintended charges.
