You can now add processing fees directly at checkout in your Ecommerce store — perfect for passing on payment or transaction costs to customers in a transparent way.

This feature automatically calculates and displays the fee as a separate line item, making it simple to manage additional charges like credit card or platform processing costs.


How It Works

  1. Go to Payments → Settings → Miscellaneous Charges → Processing Charges.

  2. Enable Processing Fee and set your percentage or flat rate.

  3. Confirm your Ecommerce Store is connected to an active payment channel.

  4. Save your changes — the system will now apply the processing fee automatically at checkout.

Why This Matters

  • Transparency: Customers see exactly what they’re paying for.

  • Flexibility: Apply either a flat fee or a percentage based on total transaction value.

  • Consistency: Fees are rounded to two decimal places for accuracy.
