Introducing Product Wishlists for Stores!

May 26, 20252 min read

The new Product Wishlisting feature gives ecommerce store owners the ability to let customers save products they love. Integrated directly into the Customer Access Center, it boosts shopping convenience and helps drive repeat sales.

Here’s how to set it up and use it effectively.

What the Wishlist Feature Offers

Customer-Focused Benefits:

  • Logged-in users can save favorite products for later.

  • Wishlisted items are available on a dedicated page in the Customer Access Center.

  • Easy removal and viewing of saved items.

Store Owner Features:

  • Enable the wishlist button on product lists, product details, or featured product elements.

  • Customize button colors for better brand alignment.

  • Add a Wishlist menu option under the customer login dropdown.

Step-by-Step Setup Instructions

1. Enable the Wishlist Feature

  • Open your Store Builder and go to your store pages.

  • Select one of the following elements:

    • Product List

    • Product Details

    • Featured Product

  • Navigate to:

    • General Settings > Wishlist Products

  • Toggle Enable Wishlist Products to ON.

  • Customize the Wishlist button:

    • Wishlist Icon Active Color

    • Wishlist Button Background Color

2. Set Up Customer Access Navigation

  • Enable the Customer Login button in your store’s top navigation.

  • Add a new menu item:

    • Name it something like “Wishlist”

    • Set the redirection to Go to Customer Access Center

    • Choose the destination page as Wishlist

3. Publish and Connect the Store

  • Save and publish all changes.

  • Make sure a valid domain is added, verified, and that the default page is connected to a store page. This is essential for login and wishlist features to function properly.

Key Things to Keep in Mind

  • Customers must be logged in to use the wishlist. If not, they’ll be prompted to log in via the Customer Access Center.

  • All wishlist actions — viewing and removing products — are handled directly in the Customer Access Center.

  • Without a valid domain tied to a store page, the login functionality (and by extension, the wishlist) will not work.

This new wishlist feature is a simple but powerful way to personalize your customers’ shopping experience. By giving users the ability to save and revisit their favorite products, you’re creating a smoother path to future purchases.
