Instant Admin Alerts for New Orders

October 24, 20252 min read

You can now set up instant notifications for store order confirmations — sent directly to your team by email or SMS the moment a customer places an order.

This new feature helps admins stay on top of every sale, confirm transactions faster, and ensure smooth processing from order to delivery.

You’ll find the new settings under Payments → Settings → Team Notifications → Order Confirmation for Stores, where you can fully customize templates and alert channels.

How to Use

  1. Go to Payments → Settings → Team Notifications.

  2. Click Order Confirmation for Stores.

  3. Toggle on Email or SMS notifications.

  4. Select or customize your preferred templates.

  5. Click Save Changes — your alerts are now active.

When an order is placed, your team will receive immediate confirmation notifications, keeping everyone aligned and responsive.

Important: To receive alerts, the user must be listed as an Account Admin under Settings → My Staff with a valid email and/or phone number.

Why This Matters

Fast communication means faster fulfillment.

With Admin Team Notifications, every new order automatically triggers an alert — no need to refresh dashboards or manually check for updates.

This ensures your staff is always aware of incoming orders, helping you:

  • Speed up processing times.

  • Prevent missed or delayed orders.

  • Keep customers informed with faster responses.

You can even customize notifications for specific team members or departments to streamline fulfillment and hand-offs.

Use Cases

Ecommerce Stores: Notify sales or fulfillment staff instantly when a new order comes in.
Restaurants & Local Businesses: Alert team members of online orders for quick preparation.
Agencies Managing Client Stores: Get updates for multiple accounts without switching dashboards.
Custom Workflows: Combine notifications with automations for follow-ups or inventory tracking.

This update keeps your team one step ahead — every time a customer clicks “Place Order.”
