Get Notified When a Meeting Has No Location
How It Works
Missed meetings often start with one simple problem: no meeting location or video link. Gold Star Pro now solves this by alerting assigned users whenever an appointment is created without a location or link. Whether the issue comes from a broken Zoom or Google Meet integration, an empty field, or a manually created appointment, the system will flag it so you can fix it before the meeting starts.
Notifications respect user preferences and are sent through email or in-app alerts, depending on how each staff member has configured their settings.
How to Use
Go to Settings > My Staff.
Choose the staff member who should receive alerts.
Open Notification Settings.
Under Calendar Notifications, turn on “Notify when meeting link or location is missing.”
Select the channels where alerts should be delivered. Supported options are email and in-app notifications.
Once enabled, the assigned user will receive an alert for every appointment that is created without a location. The notification clearly identifies which meeting is affected so you can correct the issue quickly.

Why This Matters
Meeting details go missing more often than you think. Without a location or link, clients are left confused, staff members scramble at the last minute, and no shows become more likely. This update removes that risk entirely.
Here is how this helps:
• Prevents missed meetings by catching missing details early.
• Identifies broken or failed video integrations so you can reconnect your tools.
• Ensures alerts are only sent to users who have opted in.
• Gives teams better control over meeting accuracy and client experience.
Use Cases
• Zoom or Google Meet fails to generate a link during scheduling.
• A staff member forgets to add a physical location.
• An appointment is created manually and the location field is overlooked.
• High volume scheduling environments where small details are easy to miss.
This update ensures nothing slips through the cracks and every meeting has the details it needs.
