1. Access Integration Settings

  • Start by navigating to the WooCommerce integration settings within your Gold Star Pro sub-account.

  • Go to: Settings > Integration > WooCommerce

  • This section will guide you through the setup.

2. Connect Your WooCommerce Store

  • Click the Connect button to initiate the setup process.

  • A modal will appear prompting you to enter your WooCommerce store URL.

  • Enter a valid store URL in the format https://yourstore.com (avoid any trailing slashes).

  • Once entered, you’re ready for the next step.

3. Select Data to Import

  • After connecting, you’ll proceed to the Import Elements screen. Here, you can choose which WooCommerce data to import:

    • Contacts

    • Orders

    • Transactions

  • Select the data types you’d like to import to Gold Star Pro to ensure all relevant information is migrated.

4. Configure Syncing Settings

  • In the Sync Settings screen, configure how Gold Star Pro should handle ongoing data syncs. Choose data to sync for future updates, including:

    • Contacts

    • Orders

    • Transactions

    • Order Submitted Trigger: Automates workflows upon an order submission.

    • Payment Received Trigger: Enables actions upon payment receipt.

5. Complete the Setup

  • After configuring your sync settings, click Save to complete the setup.

  • The initial import and sync may take some time, depending on the data size. Once completed, your data will be continuously synced between WooCommerce and Gold Star Pro.

Managing and Customizing Your WooCommerce Integration

After completing the setup, you can manage integration settings to control which elements remain synced for future orders. Here are additional steps for ongoing management and customization:

Enable or Disable Sync Settings

  • Within the WooCommerce integration settings, toggle elements you want to sync, like orders or contacts. This flexibility lets you manage exactly which data points stay updated in Gold Star Pro.

Reimport Data

  • To reimport data, disconnect and reconnect the integration in Gold Star Pro. This action lets you bring in any data missed during the initial import.

Additional Integration Details and Requirements

Here’s a quick overview of important aspects related to your WooCommerce integration with Gold Star Pro:

  • Integration Access: Sub-accounts within the same agency can connect to the same WooCommerce domain, though only one WooCommerce account can be connected per agency.

  • Customer Types Imported: Gold Star Pro will import WooCommerce customers with roles “customer” and “subscriber.”

  • Order-only Contacts: If only the order sync is enabled (not contacts), a contact will still be created for every order placed.

  • Guest Checkouts: Guest checkout customers will be created as contacts in Gold Star Pro; however, they won’t receive updates or future syncs.

  • WooCommerce Status Mappings: Order statuses will sync from WooCommerce to Gold Star Pro as follows:

    • Completed or Refunded → Completed in Gold Star Pro

    • Cancelled or Failed → Cancelled in Gold Star Pro

    • Other statuses → Pending in Gold Star Pro
