Configure Stripe Payments with Ease

Configure Stripe Payments with Ease!

March 16, 20252 min read

Businesses can now configure Stripe payment methods directly within their platform, removing the need to make changes on Stripe’s dashboard. This update streamlines payment management, allowing greater flexibility and control over transactions.

Key Benefits of This Update

  • Configure payment methods within your platform without accessing Stripe.

  • Enable or disable payment methods for different product areas.

  • Separate settings for Live and Test modes.

  • Subscription-specific payment method controls.

How It Works

Previously, payment methods had to be adjusted in Stripe, but now all configurations can be handled within the platform. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Existing Configurations Remain – If you're already using Stripe, your current settings will stay the same unless manually updated.

  • Stripe Editing Disabled – Going forward, changes to payment methods must be made within the platform rather than in Stripe’s dashboard.

  • Only Relevant Payment Methods Show – A checkout will only display the payment methods available for that specific product area.

  • Subscription-Specific Settings – A new dropdown under "Subscriptions" allows different payment method configurations for subscription-based products. If a subscription is included in a checkout, these settings will override the default checkout settings. (Note: Stripe requires at least one active subscription in Live mode for this feature to be accessible.)

Where to Configure Stripe Payment Methods

To manage these settings, navigate to:

  1. Go to Payments

  2. Select Integrations

  3. Click Stripe

  4. Choose "Manage Payment Methods"
