Managing large product catalogs just got easier! We’ve introduced Bulk Editing of Products in Spreadsheet View — a powerful feature that lets you update multiple product attributes at once using a familiar, spreadsheet-style interface.
With this update, you can:
Edit Multiple Fields at Once
Update product information such as titles, descriptions, labels, media, collections, and tax codes.
Manage pricing, variants, inventory, shipping, and SEO details all in one place.
Spreadsheet-Like Editing
Open selected products in a clean, editable grid view.
Click directly into cells to make edits, just like you would in a spreadsheet.
Mandatory fields (like Title, Pricing Name, and Product Type) ensure data accuracy before saving.
Column Customization
Use the “Columns” selector to choose which fields you want to display or edit.
Your selected columns will retain their last saved state, so you can easily continue where you left off.
Error Handling
Inline error detection highlights invalid inputs in red, with helpful tooltips to guide corrections.
Accidental back navigation or exit is protected with an “Unsaved changes” modal to prevent lost work.
How to Use It
Go to Products in your ecommerce dashboard.
Select multiple products.
Click Bulk Edit from the action bar.
A spreadsheet-style view will open with your selected products.
Customize your columns, edit directly in cells, and click Save when finished.
Key Points & Edge Cases
Invalid values will highlight in red and block saving until corrected.
Clicking away without saving will trigger an “Unsaved changes” prompt.
Fields that cannot be edited will display as a dash (—).
Selected columns will retain their last saved state for easier workflow continuity.
Price Amount and Title cannot be left blank — saving will be blocked if they are empty.
For some plans, certain fields may be non-editable and displayed as dashes.
Numbers with zero precision will update on blur, while fields such as Amount, Compare at Price, and Weight (precision: 2) detect changes immediately.
