Affiliate Manager: Enable or Disable Customers!
Keeping your affiliate system organized is essential for tracking commissions accurately and maintaining clean records. This guide explains how to delete, disable, and manage customer commissions within your affiliate setup.
Deleting a Customer from an Affiliate
If a customer needs to be removed from an affiliate, follow these steps:
Step 1: Navigate to the Affiliate Profile
Go to your Affiliate page.
Find the affiliate whose customer you want to remove.
Click on the affiliate’s name to open their details.
Step 2: Locate the Customer
In the Customers tab, find the customer you want to delete.
Use the search bar or filters to quickly locate them.
Step 3: Delete the Customer
Click the Delete button next to the customer’s name.
Confirm the action when prompted.
What Happens After Deleting a Customer?
The customer will no longer be linked to the affiliate.
Future commissions from this customer will no longer be generated.
Disabling or Enabling a Customer
Instead of deleting a customer, you can choose to disable them. This prevents them from generating commissions without permanently removing them.
Step 1: Navigate to the Affiliate Profile
Go to your Affiliate page.
Find the affiliate whose customer you want to disable or enable.
Click on the affiliate’s name to open their details.
Step 2: Locate the Customer
In the Customers tab, find the customer you wish to disable or enable.
Use the search bar or filters to locate them quickly.
Step 3: Disable the Customer
Click the three-dot menu next to the customer’s name.
Select Disable Customer and confirm the action.
The customer’s status will change to Disabled.
Step 4: Enable a Customer (If Needed)
Follow the same steps but select Enable Customer instead.
Only disabled customers can be enabled again.
When Should You Disable a Customer?
To stop tracking sales and commissions for a specific customer.
To handle fraudulent signups or prevent commission assignments in special cases.
Deleting Commissions
Commissions can only be deleted if they have been denied first. Here’s how to remove them:
Step 1: Navigate to the Affiliate Profile
Go to your Affiliate page.
Find the affiliate whose commission you want to delete.
Click on the affiliate’s name to open their details.
Step 2: Locate the Commission
In the Commissions tab, find the commission you wish to delete.
If the commission is still active, deny it first.
Step 3: Delete the Commission
Click the three-dot menu next to the denied commission.
Select Delete Commission and confirm the action.
By properly managing your affiliate customers and commissions, you can maintain a clean, accurate, and efficient system. Whether you need to delete, disable, or manage commissions, these steps ensure smooth affiliate operations.
