A2P Just Got Simpler
Previously, businesses needed to register A2P messaging routes for nearly every destination — even for basic communication between US and Canadian numbers.
That’s now changing.
Gold Star Pro accounts can now send many types of messages without requiring A2P registration, as long as the number is verified through Person Verification.
If you purchased your number before March 26, 2025, you can continue sending messages as usual.
If purchased after that date, you can choose to register for A2P or simply complete Person Verification.
No messages will fail just because A2P registration is missing for verified accounts.
How to Use
Go to Settings → Phone Numbers inside your Gold Star Pro account.
Select your messaging number.
Complete Person Verification if you haven’t already.
Once verified, your number will automatically qualify for A2P-free messaging between the US and Canada, and for international destinations that no longer require it.

For any new numbers added after March 26, 2025, just make sure verification is complete before sending messages.
If you’re messaging between US, Canada, or Puerto Rico, A2P registration is still required to comply with regional rules.
Why This Matters
This update reduces friction, speeds up onboarding, and simplifies how you communicate.
It means:
Fewer restrictions when sending to international destinations
Faster message approval and fewer blocked texts
Simplified setup for new users
Improved deliverability for verified senders
You can focus more on reaching your audience and less on figuring out which A2P rule applies to each region.
Use Cases
Quick Onboarding
New users can start messaging customers faster without waiting for full A2P approval.
International Messaging
Send updates and reminders to clients outside the US and Canada with fewer compliance steps.
Verified Sender Protection
Messages still stay secure and compliant through Person Verification, keeping your deliverability strong.
Cross-Border Teams
Easier communication between US and Canadian teams — no more unnecessary A2P errors slowing things down.
